Third place in Nature Stories category at the 2019 Cadiz PhotoNature Festival

Very happy with the third place in the category Nature Stories with White Worlds:

Winter shows us those white worlds where wildlife survives the harshness of this time of year. It is fascinating to adapt to the environment and the weather conditions that some species show. This report is a tribute to these admirable animals.

PORTFOLIO NATURAL

A few weeks ago I received the nice news from the Portfolio Natural had accepted me as a new member. I must say that I was tremendously excited to share space with photographers of such renowned prestige, whom I admire.

Portfolio Natural is a project born from a group of nature photographers with the aim of offering quality photographic work through the sale of original numbered and limited series copies. This initiative responds to the scarce presence of this type of images in the artistic circuits that promote and sell what has been called "author's work".

I hope to contribute with enthusiasm and work granite sand to the collective.

Golden Turtle Photo Contest 2017

The image 'Forest calls' has been a finalist in the category Animal Behavior and has been part of both the exhibition and the book of the Festival. It is an image obtained early in the morning in the interior of the forest in which a large male red deer can be seen bellowing with the haze in the background.

Oasis Photo Contest 2017

GLANCES

The image 'Glances', of a mountain hare, gets an Award Commended in Oasis Photo Contest 2017

The image was taken during a foggy morning in January 2016 on a mountain in the United Kingdom. The previous night, it snowed in abundance, which made it difficult to climb to the top in search of the mountain mountains, due to the accumulation of snow. After climbing about two hundred meters, I located a couple of feet resting and approached slowly. One of them escaped at full speed, but the hare of the image remained in the same position. I took some first images and continued to approach very slowly and lying in the snow to reach a good distance. I put the lens as low as possible to get the blur of the foreground and capture the face of this beautiful mammal surrounded by the white of the snow. For me, it was a very special moment to be able to photograph the moment we looked at each other.
